We went to church and you seemed fine during sacrament meeting. I went to nursery with you because we're getting Launa accustomed to nursery. Launa was off to play but you would not leave my lap. I eventually noticed you were feeling a little warm.
We promptly left. Of course this was on a day where daddy was doing EMT work.
On the way home, you could barely keep your eyes open but was still trying to sing the nursery rhyme songs on the radio.
At home, I gave you an ice pack you fell promptly asleep.
You took three naps that day. Your fever got up to 102.6. Daddy cooled you down with ice packs. You did take a Luke warm to cool bath too.
Fevers are HEALTHY because it kills whatever infection is ailing you, but we didn't want it to get too high because damage can be done to your body if it gets too hot.
You slept on your mattress on the floor next to mommy and daddy's bed by the open glass sliding door. Daddy set his alarm to wake up and take your temp several tines during the night.
Sometime during the night, your fever broke and you were back to 100% Starlynn the next day, not even lasting 24 hours.
There were tears shed when daddy made you keep the ice packs on your body (they were wrapped in paper towels) when your temp was climbing to 103. But in the morning you asked me and daddy if we were your doctors. Yes we are!
