Big Sister

You are such a wonderful big sister. Yes, your attempts at helping can be a little rough, as you are just about to turn 2, but all in all, you are just so loving.

Yesterday, your grandma and I got to watch you and help you because Launa was fussing and you wanted to hold her on the bed. You started bouncing up and down a little and saying "shhh, shhh, shhhh" like a mommy. It was so cute.

Then you both laid back on the pillow and you kept hugging her and giving her long kisses on her cheeks. What was so sweet about this was that Launa did indeed stop fussing and even gave you a couple little smiles. It melted mommy's heart to see the sisterly bond between you two already.

While lying down, you tried to put the binky in her mouth and she kept spitting it out and you'd say "opp it" (stop it) and put it back on her mouth. :D So funny. You are a bossy little thing.

While her little fists are moving around and touching your face, you'll just close your eyes or hold very still and then smile or laugh from it.

I am so proud of you.

Everyone thinks you are older than you are. They all guess 2 1/2, closer to 3 and you aren't quite 2 yet. It's because you act pretty mature most of the time. And people think you are pretty tall, but really you aren't taller than any kids your age or even a little older than you.

Last night, we had some people over you'd never met, and you hugged every single one of them like they were your best friends. You have quite the way with people. Please always use that for good purposes and you can affect the lives of many with your loving spirit.
