What She Says vs What She Means

Starlynn has the cutest things she says and I'll tell you what they mean.

"A tree top a wind blows!" = Starlynn has always liked singing "rock a bye baby".  Well, one day, daddy put her in a blanket and swung her back and forth.  After that, she'd come up to you with a blanket and say, "a tree top a wind blows!!"  Which means she wants you to swing her in the blanket and sing rock a bye baby.  For one day and one day only she said "a tree top a wind blows hey hey!"  It was so hilarious we couldn't get enough of her saying it so we didn't give into her right away.

"Arms up!" = When she says "arms up!" and starts pulling at her shirt, she is either looking at the bath tub filling with water or a really pretty dress.  It means, take my clothes off so I can get in the bath/put that dress on!

"Wings are wet" = She got the sleeves on her shirt wet.  She watches a lot of Tinkerbell and they can't fly with their wings wet.

"A pock-a-rosies!!!!!" = said while she holds her hands out for you to take.  She wants to play "Ring-A-Round the Rosie" (pocket full of posies)

"Night Dreams" = "Good Night, Sweet Dreams" is what we always say to her and she answers back "Night Dreams!"
