Toddler

Hi Starlynn-

You are SUCH a TODDLER right now. Completely fun, funny, cute and crazy... saying new words every day and doing new things every day, and also completely frustrating and challenging for mommy and daddy :) Being a girl, you're a bit on the whiny side which grates on our ear drums sometimes, but then you'll do something, say something, or give us a hug and a kiss and all is forgotten.

You're a great big sister and always make sure we're taking care of Launa well.

You say your whole alphabet now (except for "c" and "w" you won't even attempt yet), and you like to try and count your fingers. You read several words and like us writing out your letters, and you can say "circle" "square" and "star" (they sound like "urtle" "ware" and "tar".)

You climb, climb, climb. There is pretty much no where that you think is off limits to you. For instance, you can climb into the baby excersaucer all on your own. You get your legs down in there and everything. But, I have to come get you out :)



You remain an animal lover and also still LOVE being outside. I take you to the barn with me in the mornings to feed the horses and you have such a great time and I LOVE having you with me. You're a great little barn buddy!


Yesterday, you helped daddy wash the car and didn't care that you were drenched in medium-weather. All that mattered to you was that you were outside with your daddy!
Right now, you're challenging mommy to figure out how to get you not to yell "no", and "stop it" and "don't" all the time, but we'll figure it out. You still dole out enough hugs and kisses and laughs that I'm never very upset for long (and neither are you).

Daddy and I love you so much! And so does your little sister. She has gotten old enough to be able to start watching you, and she likes to look at your face :)

Now we are off to ride the miniature trains with daddy.
